Our Commitment To The Environment
We are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) accredited timber suppliers and we are committed to protecting the environment through our responsible purchasing policy.
We only purchase from suppliers who are registered to a recognised scheme such as FSC, PEFC or FPCC which are independently assessed by an accredited third party.
We have always sourced timber products from reputable companies. For example our principle Swedish timber supplier of 12 years - Bergkvist - is PEFC registered.
Chain of Custody is the timber industries term for knowing the source of timber. It can be traced from the forest to the end user and is recorded through the following schemes:
